IKUZO is the clothing brand looking to revolutionize the world of streetwear through technology and community. Its 2023 capsule collection, inspired by Japanese outdoor culture and clothing, are crafted with functionality, sustainability and utility in mind. Each piece in the range is built with cutting-edge PBT smart chip tech — they’re not only physical collections purchasers can wear but also digital collectibles that can be worn in the metaverse.

IKUZO’s implementation of a Web3 component for its ‘23 capsule is an innovative step with how consumers buy clothing. Fans of the brand who own the digital versions of the range are able to authenticate the physical designs, making them easier to collect, trade or even sell amongst other streetwear fans. This is where IKUZO’s hope of building a community comes in as well. On the metaverse side, owners of IKUZO digital assets will be able to unlock more digital content for them to collect or experience alongside other owners. All of this is made possible with PBT technology.

PBT (Physical Backed Token) is a new Ethereum token that ties a physical item to a digital token. IKUZO utilizes PBT because the authentication of its products with PBT are decentralized, creating endless possibilities for how IKUZO can implement both physical and digital experiences for its community. PBT is also completely open source so IKUZO and all of its digital owners “are free to authenticate, verify, and build experiences on top of the technology.”

As for the collection itself, IKUZO’s ‘23 capsule is made up of bombers, Sanjuro jackets, hoodies and more. They’re crafted from quality materials such as plush brushed cotton and durable tech fabrics with eye-catching designs that utilize camo prints, reflective elements, patchwork embellishments and Japanese-inspired artworks. The range echoes the innovative spirit of the brand with its progressive streetwear ethos and knack for advanced technologies surrounding web3 and the metaverse. With the collection’s PBT-backed element, these designs will also live-on forever on the blockchain.

“We’re excited to introduce IKUZO to the world,” says Busy AF, Co-Founder and Creative Director. “Our brand represents the future of streetwear and technology, the way businesses are built and we can’t wait to build a culture and community with our partners and customers.”

You can purchase IKUZO’s ‘23 collection when it drops February 20th, Monday on IKUZO.tech.
