Closer Look at the Children of the Discordance x RECOUTURE FW23 Nike Dunk Low/High and Air Force 1
Adding welted midsoles with treaded Vibram outsoles.
Unveiled during its Fall/Winter 2023 presentation, we now have a closer look at some of the footwear collaborations found in Children of the Discordance‘s seasonal range. Building on its eclectic outlook on fashion, the Japanese label has reconnected with footwear experts RECOUTURE for a series of reimagined Nike sneakers.
Centered around the iconic Nike Dunk Low/High and Air Force 1, the shoes are elevated with welted leather elements paired with Vibram outsoles. The premium leather uppers found on the shoes are accented by leather laces that serve to introduce the transition from lightweight trainers to welted shoes at the lower portion of the footwear. The talented cobblers create a Goodyear welt that attaches to the stacked leather midsoles paired with treaded Vibram outsoles.
