'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' Is MCU's Second-Lowest Rated Film on Rotten Tomatoes

As Marvel gears up for its fifth phase and the upcoming release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Rotten Tomatoes ratings from early critics have shown the film’s score shrinking.

Despite an early 63% approval rating from critics that have determined the film’s “fresh” score, Ant-Man 3 now sits at 53% at the time of writing. With 115 reviews, the film is now certified “rotten,” making it the MCU‘s second-lowest scoring film. It is only one behind 2021’s Eternals. ComicBook has ranked the films from highest certification to lowest. Black Panther is at the highest rating with 96% Certified Fresh and Avengers: Endgame and Iron Man coming in second at 94% and Spider-Man: No Way Home and Thor: Ragnarok in third with 93%. Eternals comes in last at 47%.

With the below average critic reviews, Disney’s third Ant-Man film looks to hit $95 million USD at the domestic box office and $225 million USD globally. The film kicks off Phase Five of the MCU, which continues with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Marvels, Captain America: New World Order, Thunderbolts and Blade. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on February 17.
