The 'Grand Theft Auto 6' Trailer Release Date Was Teased on 'GTA Online' in June 2023

Rockstar Games seem to have subtly teased the release date of the first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer as early as June 2023.

Eagle-eyed players took to X to reveal their findings, specifying a T-shirt once available on GTA Online with the name “???” under the category “GTAV Anniversary.” The grey and black T-shirt featured a hidden message cracked by players to read “ONEDAYWILLREVEALALL” and a series of numbers, with one of them being “1252309” — December 5, 2023 at 9 a.m. PT, the announced release date and time of the upcoming game’s first trailer.

With the confirmation of the trailer’s release date, fans also pointed out that the number sequence “040125” could possibly be Rockstar Games’ way of teasing an April 1, 2025 release date for GTA 6. While nothing has been officially announced except for a 2025 release year, Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Rockstar Games‘ parent company Take-Two Interactive, previously shared that they “have a very robust pipeline of titles” and “a great outlook for fiscal 2025.” Fans took this as a hint that GTA 6 could release some time between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025.
