In its latest residential move, the Karl Lagerfeld brand has revealed plans to open several luxury apartments across Lisbon, Portugal.

The label will cut the ribbon on 10 units, each of which covers one or two entire floors, at an undisclosed date. They’ll be situated between Rua Castilho and the Avenida da Liberdade. Notably, each apartment will include a communal garden and private swimming pools, per the company.

“We share central values of innovation and improving the future, and I know that this project will be a stunning addition to the rich, vibrant city of Lisbon,” Pier Paolo Righi, chief executive officer of the Karl Lagerfeld brand, said in a statement via WWD.

The Karl Lagerfeld brand has partnered with Lisbon’s high-end developer Overseas, which places an emphasis on minimizing environmental impact, to complete the project.

“We want to build a reference in comfort and elegance, allied with the most demanding environmental requests in construction and functioning,” added Pedro Vicente, CEO of Overseas.

The Lisbon apartments will mark the latest development in the Karl Lagerfeld house’s move into branded residences. In October, the brand announced a partnership with UAE real estate company Taraf Holding to build villas in Dubai; and in the summer, the company opened a sprawling hotel in Macao. In 2021, the label opened its first apartments in Marbella, Spain.
