BAPE Teams up With Mitchell & Ness For New NHL Collaboration
Ready for hockey season.
BAPE is expanding and teaming up with Mitchell & Ness for hockey season this winter. The sportswear brand is collaborating with the NHL to launch a capsule that infuses the classic hockey jersey aesthetic with BAPE’s streetwear flair.
In particular, this collection sees BAPE reimagine hockey jersey designs for the Anaheim Ducks, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings and the Florida Panthers. Still reflecting each team’s unique monikers, BAPE adds a stylish touch to the jerseys, also incorporating their own iconic marques like the ape silhouette and camo graphic branding. Beyond the jerseys, the collection also features a selection of knitted beanies for fans to wear to support their teams.
A standout piece of co-branded item includes the BAPE x NHL t-shirt. The limited edition piece seamlessly integrates the NHL logo with a playful and athletic BAPE ape hockey graphic. The collection is a nod to BAPE’s 30th anniversary and also pays homage to the Florida Panthers and Anaheim Ducks — both of which are celebrating three decades in the league. The New York Rangers are also celebrating the 30th anniversary of their 1993-94 season Stanley Cup triumph.
The Mitchell & Ness x BAPE x NHL collaboration launches online at Mitchell & Ness and BAPE starting on December 23 at 11 a.m. EST with jerseys going for $300 USD, the beanies for $100 USD and the t-shirt for $120 USD.
