With Thanksgiving only a matter of days away, a selection of footwear brands are looking to step into the holiday season in style, with the likes of Jordan Brand, Nike, New Balance, PUMA, and more preparing sneakers to keep an eye on. But, before we run through the lineup of releases coming across the next week, let’s take a look at what headlines dominated the industry this past week.

On the feature front, Hypebeast’s Sole Mates series continued with a conversation with James Barrett about the UP THERE x ASICS Gel-Lyte III “Kookaburra.”

As for the news, Nike presented a new Cortez silhouette in “Teal/Yellow” and the Swoosh also revealed an all-new Air Max 1 in “Pure Platinum/Dark Obsidian.” Elsewhere, Hypebeast readers were treated to the news of Stüssy teasing the release date of its new Birkenstock collaboration. Additionally, New Balance presented a striking collaborative 991v2 silhouette with Patta, while the FENTY x PUMA Creeper returned with a new design.

Outside of Nike, PUMA, and New Balance, UNAFFECTED treated followers to a first look at its ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 collaboration, while Reebok explored the spell-binding world of the Harry Potter series with a new collection. Rounding things out, Coca-Cola and Crocs presented their brand new collaboration and Travis Scott’s Jumpan Jack Trainer got set for a Fall release to keep people talking.

And after countless leaks, the boutique has finally unveiled an official collaboration — with the first of two colorways, “Dusk,” dropping on the 24th. The sneaker — and its corresponding pair that’s dropping at a later date this month — is set to debut alongside the premiere of Still We Rise, a short film that reflects the work of esteemed writers James Baldwin and Maya Angelou. Crafted with a fine suede upper, overlaid accents are also included alongside A Ma Maniére badging marks on the tongue and outsole. Rounding off the design, a custom monogram replaces the shoe’s typical cage, while a jacquard pattern hits the interior lining.
