Craig Green Drops Limited Edition "Jumbo Wooden Tools"
Use at your own discretion.
In the past decade, Craig Green been a staple London Fashion Week name, known for his avant-garde silhouettes that walk down his runway year after year. When it comes to his fashion, his work toes the line of wearable, conceptual art. Quite often, his pieces break down conventions and menswear tropes throughout fashion.
His latest accessory does just that. According to the designer, Craig Green’s most recent objet d’art is a wearable accessory, at your own discretion, of course. The pieces are “Jumbo Wooden Tools,” according to the designer himself, but the series bears great similarity to buttplugs. Green is making sex toys chic to celebrate Dover Street Market London‘s 20th anniversary. The accessories will only be available at the store, giving a whole new meaning to wooden sculptures.
Whether they are for one’s own pleasure or merely a center piece for the bedside table or the topic of a conversation, the wooden tools are limited to only 11 different pieces. This would not be the first time fashion has dabbled with sex toys, albeit functional or not. For Diesel’s SS23 MFW show, Glenn Martens sent invites to guests with a glass buttplug. Craig Green took to Instagram to reveal the exclusive accessories, available only at DSM London. Take a look at the offerings above or below.
