The social media phenomenon that sees the world in Accidentally Wes Anderson now has an exhibit that will be landing in London later this year. The Accidentally Wes Anderson: The Exhibition is slated to showcase a collection of over 200 real-life images that show the world through the art of photography in a unique way that boasts the charm and eccentric aesthetic of the beloved director.

With seven distinct themed rooms that include “Transport,” “Maritime” and “Nature,” the exhibit is formulated in a partnership between Fever, the leading live entertainment discovery platform behind some of London’s most sought after experiences. In a gallery-style presentation, the seven themed rooms take guests on a captivating journey through the whimsical world inspired by Anderson’s distinctive film aesthetic. From showing photographs across the world, visitors of the exhibit are to be transported into a pastel-hued grandeur and idyllic landscapes.

The exhibit pays tribute to the director through travel, photography, community and adventure. Founders of AWA initially began the concept in 2017. The Brooklyn-based husband and wife team Wally and Amanda first established themselves on Instagram starting this as a personal project. In a joint statement, the founder said, ““We are so excited to bring this exhibition to London, in partnership with Fever. Our tiny Team loves getting lost in all the amazing photo & video submissions the AWA Community sends our way, and we cannot wait to share a beautifully curated selection in one of our favourite cities. Our mission has always been the same, since we started AWA in 2017 – to provide a daily dose of delight and inspire a sense of adventure and curiosity for all that wish to participate, we hope that this experience can do just that for everyone that visits.”

The experience will begin with guests entering the “Post Office” where they will experience a tactile trip back in time to analogue-London and later discover “Doors” that act as portals into a new imagination. Themed rooms include “Hotels/Motels,” as well as “Sports,” and one that is devoted to the city, “The London Room.” The gallery experience will take place at 79-85 Old Brompton Road in Kensington, London. Ticket sales launch begin on November 7 with the exhibit opening on December 8.
