Packhelp and Inuru Introduce OLED Illumination Technology to Cattier Bottle Labels

In a futuristic redesign, Cattier – the creators of Armand de Brignac and other luxury champagnes – unveils its heritage Glamour bottle with a new light-up label innovated by Packhelp and Inuru. With interactivity and visual identity elevated through tech, the French champagne house hopes the exclusive design will bring a new experience to enjoying the celebratory drink.

The concept of the label was sparked from Inuru’s patented ELF technology. Created from paper-thin OLED film screens, the visual interface can be found globally across printed displays, thanks to its bendable and water-resistant qualities. With Warsaw-based Packhelp, the smart packaging brand integrates the ELF sheets into a new design for the all-white champagne bottle. It sees the Cattier name light up on an all-black label as the drink is being poured or manually turned on by users.

Commenting on the three-way collaborative project, Packhelp’s CSCO Maciej Zając says, “Unleashing the power of cutting-edge technology that will undoubtedly shape the future of the product visual communication is a challenge and a chance that we have been looking for. Being on the forefront of the packaging industry for the last 7 years, we gained experience in introducing all kinds of innovations.”

Inuru CEO Marcin Ratajczak adds, “Together we have managed to create a product that not only offers a quality in line with over 400 years of tradition of Cattier, but also brings a completely new experience for the customers interacting with their favorite brands. Illuminated labels are just a first step and we are looking forward to introducing even more ways to interact with packaging.”
