Aries is Bringing Out a Photo Zine With Mia Khalifa

Mia Khalifa has become fashion’s latest it-girl, being crowned the number one Emerging Influencer by the PR firm Karla Otto and working the scene at Paris Fashion Week FW23, attending BLUEMARBLE, Louis Vuitton and various other shows. Now, she’s the face of her own zine, which debuted during a party in Paris last night courtesy of the zine’s maker, Aries.
Shot by Clare Shilland and Conor Cunningham on Whitstable beach in Eastern England, as well as at Khalifa’s holiday home in the seaside town, we find the rising fashion starlet wearing the latest and greatest from the British fashion label. Her joy and carefree nature is expressed in Shilland’s images, capturing her in candid portraits dominated by her inimitable stare.
“No Problemo” T-shirts are met with cropped tie-dyed numbers, lace lingerie body suits and even a penis costume that she wears on the beach. The images come together in a zine designed by i-D‘s Jonny Lu, featuring alongside Aries’ Fall/Winter 2023 preview, and an interview with Mia by Deba Hekmat.
