With the GRAMMY Awards serving as one of music’s biggest nights, fans and musicians alike always look forward to who will grace the stage. With the award show drawing near, it has been revealed that Mary J. Blige, Bad Bunny, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Sam Smith, Kim Petras, Brandi Carlile and Luke Combs are set to perform at this year’s award show.

Out of her long-standing and successful career, Mary J Blige’s forthcoming performance will add to the R&B legend’s line of GRAMMY performances. Thus far, she has won 9 GRAMMY Awards with a total of 37 nominations. This year, Blige received six nominations for the deluxe version of her album Good Morning Gorgeous including Record Of The Year, Album of The Year, Nest R&B Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Album.

With 2022 marking Bad Bunny’s third year as the most streamed artist in the world, it comes as no surprise that he’ll be leading the charge this year. Outside of performing, the Puerto Rico native is nominated for three awards including Album Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Música Urbana Album. In addition to being an international sensation, the artist is already a two-time GRAMMY Award winner.

Alongside Bad Bunny, it’s fitting that Steve Lacy performs at this year’s award show given the virality of his sophomore album, Gemini Rights. Its fifth track “Bad Habit” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and served as Lacy’s first US chart entry. Lacy is nominated in four categories including Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Progressive R&B Album.

The GRAMMY Awards takes place on Sunday, February 5 at 8 p.m. ET.

In related news, Coldplay is to perform as Saturday Night Live’s musical guest.
