Update: While we’ve yet to see the pair just yet — pictured above is 2016’s release — the Air Jordan 1 “Satin Bred” now has an expected release date. According to @zSneakerHeadz, October 18 will be the day of launch. It’s said to be dropping in women’s sizing as well as kids’ sizes at a price of $180 USD for adult pairs. Stay tuned for a first look at the sneaker and dive into our initial coverage below for more info.

Original Story: Here we are in January and Jordan Brand’s hype machine is already fully charged. Alongside the brand’s official Spring 2023 retro collection reveal, various colorways have surfaced, preparing sneakerheads for another chaotic year of sought-after releases. Naturally, the Air Jordan 1 is making plenty of noise with upcoming looks such as itsSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and “Vibrations of Naija” that were recently spotted on-foot. Now, an early rumor — courtesy of @zSneakerHeadz — of the division’s Holiday 2023 lineup has been shared, revealing the return of the “Satin Bred” Air Jordan 1 colorway.

Originally releasing in 2016 with an extremely limited run of 501 numbered pairs, the shoe has gone on to sell for thousands of dollars on secondhand markets since. While little is known about the 2023 version of the pair, it’s likely to feature an all-satin upper once again in the classic red and black color blocking that we all know and love.

Note that the pair pictured above is the 2016 version and stay tuned as we anxiously await additional details and a first look at the shoe. As of now, it is expected to be a women’s colorway releasing during Holiday 2023 via Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers. You can also head over to Flight Club now to pick up a pair.
