MM6 Maison Margiela Reveals Salomon Collaboration During Milan Fashion Week SS23 Runway Show
A two-piece collaboration.
MM6 Maison Margiela debuted its second Salomon collaboration during its Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023 runway collection. The collaboration features just two pieces at the moment, comprising of thigh-high boots and running vests and the classic black and white colorway.
MM6, which is designed by a collective has grown from womenswear to a co-ed, unisex brand. In the past few seasons, MM6 utilized its status as the diffusion line to branch off into creating reworked signature Margiela garments with a contemporary aesthetic by teaming up with Eastpak, North Face and of course, Salomon. These collabs have brought the Margiela brand to the forefront of combining functionality with high fashion.
Now for the SS23 season, MM6 continues on the path with Salomon as a collaborative partner, preparing a two-piece capsule that features a redesigned ADV Skin 5 running vest, typically used for an additional layer and for staying hydrated. Special thigh-high boots have been created using original MM6 footwear design, fitted with the classic Salomon hiking sneaker sole.
