Ahead of the 25th anniversary of the original 1998 Jumpman Team 2 silhouette in 2023, Jordan Brand has taken a trip down memory lane to release the original “Chicago” colorway. The shoe has had a deep-rooted history with basketball, specifically in helping the brand grow and build on its legacy in the early days.

The silhouette is inspired by the Air Jordan 13 and 14 and arrives in the classic white, black and red color scheme. The shoe comes constructed in a mix of materials including mesh and leather, highlighting this model’s signature wavy midsole. The midsole is complete with the all-caps “JORDAN” branding while dimpled leather white leather covers the upper. Team Jordan collection branding is seen at the top of the tongue and the spine. Added cushioning for performance is delivered on the outsole to round out the design.

Take a look above at the Jordan Jumpman Team 2 “Chicago” set to release by the end of the year at select retailers and on Nike.

In other footwear news, “Navy” joins the Air Jordan 1 Low “Inside Out” series.
