Yesterday, Alessandro Michele‘s Gucci released its comprehensive Fall 2022Exquisite” collection, delivering a smattering of dazzling ready-to-wear alongside a large array of collaborative adidas looks, most of which leant towards regal Renaissance themes. Now, the house follows up on its footwear with the introduction of two new adidas Gazelle styles, following on not just from yesterday’s platform Gazelles, but also the wider drop from the summer.

Kicking off with the brown and black “Square G” suede and leather Gazelle — a pair first seen in a teaser image from February this year — we find the familiar old-school silhouette decked in one of Gucci’s loudest makeovers to date. Here, emblematic house motifs decorate the upper of the shoe, oozing an ’80s aesthetic with its almost vintage carpet-like print. Accenting the pair is a gum sole unit sporting Gucci’s moniker, black leather Three Stripes and a matching branded heel, and a tongue in black with dual-branded printed tags.

Next is the white leather and oatmeal suede offering, which was also seen (alongside a snakeskin-effect pair) in the aforementioned teaser. Here, Gucci’s house colors of red and green work the Three Stripe motif, with gold-branded green heel tabs and red laces contrasting the stark white leather uppers. Toes, vamps and eyestay plackets are done up in the oatmeal suede, becoming one of Gucci and adidas’ most easy-to-wear pairs.

Lastly, the eagle-eyed will also notice a yet-to-drop third pair in Hypebeast’s lead image; a Gucci Gazelle in black leather with oatmeal suede and shiny detailing.

Take a look at the latest Gazelles in the Gucci x adidas collaboration above, and purchase both styles online or in Gucci’s boutiques now for £575 GBP a pair (or $850 USD).

In other news, Ye has said he will stop working with adidas when his contract ends.
