Baltic Watches And A Collected Man Blue Roulette Pays Tribute To Mid-Century Dress Watches

Baltic Watches has collaborated with luxury watch dealer, A Collected Man, for a limited edition inspired by mid-century dress watches.
While the Baltic For A Collected Man MR01 Blue Roulette might draw inspiration from vintage pieces with its ‘roulette’ dial, it does so using a contemporary blue color palate.
The three-part 36mm stainless steel case features a mix of brushed and polished finishes and is water resistant to 30m, while the dial features a grainy texture with circular-brushed hour and minute rings and snailed sub dials, all stepped down beneath the main surface of the dial adding a sense of depth.
“We wanted to have this play with texture and light,” says Baltic founder Etienne Malec. “With a more textured surface underneath contrasting with the more polished and reflective one found on the roulette ring. This is something that we really wanted to include given the passion we share with A Collected Man for these older pieces.”
Inside is a micro-rotor automatic movement with 42-hour power reserve.
The Baltic For A Collected Man MR01 Blue Roulette will be limited to just 300 pieces when it drops via A Collected Man on September 21, priced £500 GBP (approximately $571 USD).
