The 2022-2023 NBA season is about to get started up in the middle of October 2022, and to get in the spirit of the upcoming hoops action, adidas is crafting a duo of team-inspired Forum ‘84 High colorways. One pair nods to the 17-time champion Los Angeles Lakers while the other honors the Milwaukee Bucks.

Both offerings in this capsule share similar qualities from a construction and color standpoint. Overlays that are found across the toe boxes are done up with creamy exteriors while the collars and straps are fashioned in a crispy white hue and the rear suede panels contrast with a lighter gray. Franchise-focused accents then take shape on the installments. The LA-inspired offering brings the signature purple and gold colors to life across the collars, stripes, Trefoil logos, “‘84” embellishments on the top parts of the heel and the midsole molds, while the Bucks rendition is executed with the squad’s red and green hits. Below, the midsoles echo its vintage-y motif by having creamy midsoles and tan treading.

Elsewhere in the world of sneakers, an adidas Forum Hi colorway that’s devoted to New York’s Cuts & Slices pizzeria has been revealed.
