Continuing its collaborative relationship with adidas, Singapore-based sneaker retailer, Limited Edt, has reconnected with adidas Originals to celebrate Singapore’s independence this month with a Forum 84 Low release. The latest team-up serves as the third and final installment of Limited Edt’s batik-inspired floral pattern series, kicked off by the adidas Originals ZX Flux and Superstar Pack back in 2015, and Superstar Clean in 2017.

Limited Edt x adidas Originals Forum 84 Low “Singapore Forum” pays homage to the retro basketball silhouettes’ iconic original white/blue colorway with premium hair suede and leather uppers with batik detailing. The floral wax-resist dyeing process is applied on the sockliners, windows on the ankle strap, beneath the translucent outsoles, and on the extra patterned laces. Aside from the off white tone midsoles, additional detailing comes in the form of embossed branding on the tongues, gold foil co-branding throughout, and a UV reactive process applied to the uppers that reveal a blue floral batik pattern in the sun.

Limited to just 300 pairs globally, each pair of Limited Edt x adidas Originals Forum 84 Low “Singapore Forum” sneakers is stitched with numbering and comes complete with a “Singapore Forum Collector Card” noting the rarity of the collaboration.

To further celebrate the collaboration, Limited Edt is also launching its first NFT, “Vanda NFT,” August 20. The NFT is centered around Vanda, which Limited Edt explains as, a “Singapore’s female superhero vigilante. A mythical folk hero to countless young women. From her mastery in combat to ability to disguise herself, her exploits are already one of legend. Little is known about her except that she has a taste for orchids and sneakers. Fresh orchids left next to her footprint of different sneakers have become the signature of this vigilante when she completes her missions.”

60 unique Vanda NFTs will be made available that will be accompanied by a special box set. The Box set includes a pair of the sneakers, a basketball jersey, matching basketball and an exclusive “Singapore Forum” collectible trading card. Proceeds of the Vanda NFT will go towards HCSA Community Services Programmes, which focus on serving the vulnerable group of abused teenage girls and single-parent families, giving them a future and hope. The Limited Edt Vanda NFT will be available for purchase for 0.19 ETH (approximately $375 USD) via limitededt.com/vandanft August 20.

Priced at S$209 SGD (approximately $151 USD), the Limited Edt x adidas Originals Forum 84 Low “Singapore Forum” will be available August 27 via Limited Edt.
