The retail experience is “distilled to its most essential form.”
Shortly after being announced,
Building on the YEEZY GAP ENGINEERED BY BALENCIAGA vision of utilitarian design, the Gap Times Square flagship was “reengineered and distilled to its most essential form.”
Customers that made it into the store were greeted to a stripped-back space lined with surplus bags filled with a selection of YEEZY GAP ENGINEERED BY BALENCIAGA styles. Items were marked with simple pricing notes via tags on the surplus bags. The progressive minimal retail experience reportedly serves to “fulfill the vision to deliver YEEZY GAP design on a larger scale.”
For those that couldn’t make the Times Square launch, the collection is still available globally over at the official YEEZY Gap online store.
