Compass has just listed a house that’s a mathematical masterpiece. Named The Origami House, the home sees 15 individual geometric structures “folded” out into separate rooms for different purposes. Sitting on more than 15 acres in Weston, Connecticut, the 8,500 sq ft home was designed by Leroy Street Studio and sees amenities like a fully-lit tennis court, cherry orchard, a full library, steam room, sauna, hot tub, and Koi fish sanctuary.
Anchoring the west end of the home is the “Glass Great Room,” an atrium inspired by I.M. Pei’s Louvre Pyramid. On top of the three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and two 1/2 bathrooms, there are exposure rooms that open onto the outdoor terrace to view one of the two waterfalls. The entire structure also features plenty of skylights and intricate ceiling elevations to join each section as one large open space with plenty of natural light.
The Origami House home is currently listed for $6.5 million USD over on Compass.
