20th Century Fox on Wednesday revealed the chaotic trailer for David O. Russell’s upcoming, star-studded film Amsterdam.

The visual opens as Chris Rock‘s character discovers a “dead white man in a box,” which centers the plot on three friends — played by Christian Bale, Margot Robbie and John David Washington — who are accused of murder and vow to “protect each other… no matter what.” In light of the accusation, the group employs a close source (Robert De Niro), who says he saw “something monstrous” kill his friend, to help them solve the case.

The star-studded film, which was also written and produced by Russell, also features Alessandro Nivola, Andrea Riseborough, Anya Taylor-Joy, Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Shannon, Mike Myers, Taylor Swift, Zoe Saldaña and Rami Malek. The period pic, which operates under a tagline reading, “A lot of this actually happened,” mixes historical fact with fiction.

Arnon Milchan of New Regency is producing with Matthew Budman, Anthony Katagas, Russell and Bale. Executive producers include Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer and Sam Hanson.

Amsterdam will premiere in theaters on November 4. Watch the official trailer above.

In more entertainment news, Thor: Love and Thunder is projected to open with $300 million USD globally.
