Rihanna Launches Sophomore Pride Collection With Savage x Fenty
Kicking off Pride month with rainbow-inspired innerwears.
Rihanna is back with the second drop of her lingerie Pride collection with Savage x Fenty.
The entrepreneur has unveiled her sophomore innerwear collection in a campaign celebrating the “vibrancy and diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community.” The latest Pride selections feature four collections including Forever Savage, Tagged by Savage, Carnival Mesh and Show Your Colors. Within these collections sees various multicolor rainbow prints that utilize a mix of materials including fishnets, mesh fabrics, rhinestone gems and lace. The lingerie collection focuses on sex-positive accessories including garter belts, whips and jockstraps on top of bras, bodysuits, stockings, smoking jackets and sleepwear.
The campaign features LBTQIA+ models and icons including Honey Balenciaga from Legendary, RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Plastique Tiara, plus-size influencer Nikki Garza and Fire Island star Tomás Matos. Rihanna is kicking off Pride Month with donations made to GLAAD and For the Gworls – a transgender-led mutual aid collective that provides those in need rent, therapy, and medical care. The contributions made to For the Gworls are made in tandem between Pride x Fenty and the Clara Lionel Foundation founded by Rihanna in 2012.
Those in the Los Angeles region on June 11-12 will be able to pop by the Savage x Pride truck to buy the styles. The collection comes in a ranges of sizes between 32-46 and A-H for bras, XS-XXXL for garments, all retailing between $16.95 to $69.95 USD online at SavageX or in retail stores.
