Sunnier days have thankfully become more consistent as June has progressed, and for the week leading up to Juneteenth, all of your most coveted sneaker brands have generously lined up an alluring bunch of new releases. This week, brands like Nike, Jordan Brand, Vans and Reebok are making their presence felt with new heat, but before we inform you on those, let’s first summarize the most important sneaker headlines from last week.

For exclusives, HYPEBEAST continued its weekly Sole Mates series thanks to a captivating interview with Matthew M. Williams about his innovative Givenchy TK-360 silhouette. In terms of a news, there was a flurry of items that were revealed on Nike’s behalf. We saw the Swoosh officially unveil its deconstructable Nike ISPA Link, tease a duo of Stüssy x Nike Air Penny 2 collabs and show off a dog-inspired Nike Air Max 1 “Woman’s Best Friend” colorway. Jordan Brand certainly made some noise as well as we saw a detailed look at the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 1 High OG “Chicago Reimagined,” a teaser of the tropical-inspired TITAN x Air Jordan 2 Low and an official view of the Jordan Zion 2 “Voodoo” iteration.

Kanye West’s line with adidas saw more offerings trickle out into the ether as well such as the earthy YEEZY 500 High “Brown” colorway, the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Granite” and the adidas YEEZY FOAM RNNR “Desert Sand.” Other brands that contributed to the footwear buzz last week included Converse which presented Tyler, the Creator’s new GLF 2.0 model as well as Paraboot and All Triangles which dropped its MLB-Inspired Michael Derbys.

Now that you’re all updated with the latest in sneakers, scroll here below to peep the top 10 launches of the week. When you finish up there, be sure to check out the HBX store for more footwear styles.

For this team-up, designer Kobayashi Setsumasa mentioned that he wanted to create “something basic yet decorative.” And he achieved that by employing a simple white and blue color scheme and equipping the kicks with a removable shroud that mimics the Club C’s original perforated foam tongue and classic cricket footwear protectors called “pats”.
