Last fans received a new project from Megan Thee Stallion was back in October, with her release of Something For Thee Hotties. Made up of freestyles and unreleased songs from her archive, the compilation album spanned 21 tracks in total and served as the eagerly-anticipated follow up to the rapper’s debut LP Good News.

About a year and a half since she dropped Good News, Megan teased that fans may be hearing new work sometime soon.

On Monday evening the rapper was the recipient of the Webby Artist of the Year Award, presented to her by celebrity stylist and Legendary co-star Law Roach. During a red carpet interview, she shared that her sophomore album is nearly finished.

“Anything I want to give away? Actually, I’m probably like 95% done with my new album,” she revealed “I want to tease that for the hotties. I haven’t told them nothing about my album.”

Last month, the rapper returned with the new single “Plan B.” She went on to perform the track at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards as a medley with her Dua Lipa collaboration “The Sweetest Pie.”

In other music news, Quavo teamed up with adidas Headphones on limited-edition wireless earbuds.
