Following a collaboration with Up There, ASICS reconnects with Comme des Garçons SHIRT once again for four special two-tone takes on the GEL-LYTE V. The upcoming pairs arrive in a mix of nylon mesh and leather uppers with subtle ASICS branding accents on the tongue, and Comme des Garçons SHIRT printed on the midsoles. Two iterations of solid-color and leopard print makeups are found in white-on-black and black-on-white with prints extending onto the soles.

The retro GEL-LYTE V runner was originally launched in 1993 and has become a lifestyle mainstay for ASICS ever since. While last year’s Comme des Garçons SHIRT footwear collaboration saw neon leopard pops across the logos and footbed, this year introduces all-over grayscale animal prints as well as more traditional color blocking options.

Take an official look at the Comme des Garçons SHIRT x ASICS GEL-LYTE V above and expect the pairs to arrive at Dover Street Market and other select retailers for $299 USD.
