RECOUTURE and atmos Return to Deconstruct the adidas Originals Superstar
Featuring patchwork uppers and a serrated-edge logo.
RECOUTURE is getting ready to drop its latest collab with atmos and adidas Originals. Like last year’s FORUM LOW, this take on the SUPERSTAR strays from Shun Hirose’s outsole revitalization and focuses on the uppers.
Using the tonal shades of, beige, gray, and white make their way in patchwork form across the entire uppers where stitching and thread work is left open for a deconstructed look. adidas‘ Three Stripes logo is also given a serrated-edge finish to tie in the work-shop aesthetic. For some vintage flair, the outsole arrives in an aged, yellowed color.
Slated for an April 29 release at atmos, the RECOUTURE x atmos x adidas Originals SUPERSTAR SH will retail for ¥14,500 JPY (approximately $115 USD).
