Christie’s is set to auction off a single-owner collection of 128 contemporary Patek Philippe watches around the world this spring.

The Kairos Collection: Exceptional Contemporary Timepieces by Patek Philippe will be offered over three auctions, with Part I taking place in Geneva on May 9 with 30 pieces going under the hammer. Highlights of this sale include a Ref. 5959R-001 Split-Seconds Chronograph in rose gold with black dial and a Ref. 5074R-001 Minute Repeater Perpetual Calendar.

Then on May 24, Christie’s Hong Kong will auction a further 30 pieces at Part II, including a platinum Ref. 5951P-012 Perpetual Calendar Split-Seconds Chronograph and a rose gold Ref. 5078R-001 Minute Repeater.

The remaining 68 pieces of the collection will be presented by Christie’s Rockefeller Centre salesrooms in New York on June 8 at Part III, “showcasing the modern evolution of Perpetual Calendar Chronographs, Split-Chronographs, Métiers d’Art artisanal techniques, World Time references and Complications – and not to be missed highlights that include several Tiffany & Co. dual-signature dials.”

Christie’s describes every watch in the Kairos Collection as being “in exceptional condition, accompanied by its original Certificate of Origin and all associated product literature, presentation box and outer packaging.”

The owner of the collection – which was assembled over 35 years – displayed each of watches in transparent, protective clamshell-shaped boxes to “preserve its original condition and allow its unencumbered beholding.”

Ahead of the sales, The Kairos Collection will be displayed around the world at a series of public previews in New York, Geneva, Dubai, Hong Kong and San Francisco.

More information on The Kairos Collection auctions can be found at Christie’s.
