Los Angeles’ cult-favorite grocery store Erewhon Market is serving up its first-ever fashion collaboration with contemporary French imprint Casablanca, complete with a dual-branded tote bag and special-edition juice.

Inside co-branded, orange-capped bottles, the Parisian fashion house and the Southern California market have concocted a limited-run dragon fruit, coconut and strawberry blend dubbed the “Alaya Après-Sport Juice,” named after Casablanca founder and creative director Charaf Tajer’s newborn son Alaya. And next to the light pink beverage, the duo has crafted a fully-cotton-canvas, Après-Sport tote bag that plasters both labels’ signature iconography on a similarly-tinted backdrop.

“We’re always looking for the beauty in the world, and that usually starts within,” said Tajer in a statement. “Erewhon has always been one of my favourite stores, and both Casablanca and Erewhon have so many shared philosophies and values around wellbeing, especially treating nature and the natural path as the ultimate luxury. It’s an honour to collaborate with them on our first project together, something that takes the name of my son as well, it’s really special to me.”

Alec Antoci, who leads brand development for Erewhon, added, “[Casablanca's team members] are experts in creating an immersive story through vibrant art direction and luxurious materials in each of their collections. Erewhon identifies with going beyond and as we expand into a wider array of lifestyle products, it makes perfect sense to collaborate with a like-minded brand like Casablanca.”

From April 13 to May 9, the Alaya Après-Sport Juice and Après-Sport Tote Bag will be available to purchase at all seven Erewhon Market locations for $14 USD and $165 USD, respectively.
