Bottega Veneta's New $2K USD Crease Leather Pouch Elevates the Humble Dust Bag

Bottega Veneta and bags go hand-in-hand, with its Tent, Intrecciato styles, Cassette, and Jodie all being hits for the luxury label, but now it looks to shake things up with its latest offering — a Crease Leather Pouch in “Parakeet/Black.”

Taking the brand’s signature shade of green and applying it to a leather take on a dust bag, Bottega Veneta enters a space usually reserved for brands known for subverting tradition. Bottega Veneta is usually quite the opposite as its bags are often investment pieces that transcend trends, even if they do simultaneously make trends, but its new pouch leans more towards something playful and lighthearted.

Regardless, it’s definitely still an accessory to be taken seriously. Made in Italy entirely from leather, the pouch wears Bottega Veneta branding on the front that’s stamped in black on top of the glossy “Parakeet” base. A rolltop, similar to a sandwich bag, is fitted with cotton drawstrings that pull the bag shut and allow the bag to be worn like a sports bag over the shoulders.
