Singapore Watch Club Celebrates Sixth Anniversary With Cartier Collaboration
The collection includes 18 unique watches covering six models.
Singapore Watch Club is celebrating its sixth anniversary with a collaboration that has resulted in 18 unique Cartier watches spanning its collection.
Rather than work on a single model for its special edition, the horological society opted to work across six of Cartier’s watches including Cloche, Tonneau, Santos Dumont, Tank Asymétrique, Tank Cintrée, and Tank Louis Cartier.
To tie each of the pieces together the watches have been given a silvered brushed dial with Cartier’s ‘chemin de fer’ minute track picked out in blue, reflecting the watch club’s colors.
Hidden in the railway track, in a similar manner to Cartier’s own hidden dial signature, are the initials SWC, while the Roman numeral six, usually inverted, has been rotated upright to signify the anniversary. You can read HYPEBEAST’s Cartier Tank ICONS entry here.
Three examples of each of the manually wound models will be produced in 18K rose and yellow and platinum, listing the society’s values of “passion, sincerity and humility” and will be offered to members and associates of the Singapore Watch Club.
