Levi’s Vintage Clothing, a throwback series inspired by iconic looks of bygone eras, has created a Limited-Edition Japanese version of the 1947 501® jeans.

The Levi’s 1947 501® was first produced after WWII, and saw the return of many features lost during wartime production including back pocket stitching and watch pocket rivets. These reworked dark-wash pairs are made of 12 oz Japanese selvedge denim and feature a slim workwear fit with a high waistline. Copper rivets, red fabric tabs, button flies, and red-text leather jacrons all feature Japanese engraving and stitching.

The special-edition Levi’s 1947 501 model will be released on March 10 at select Levi’s stores in Japan and Levi’s official webstore. Each piece is priced at 81,400 JPY (approximately $705 USD), and quantities are limited to 501 total. Take a detailed look at the upcoming release in the images above.

Elsewhere, Takashi Murakami and ©SAINT M ×××××× reunite for two stadium jackets.
