H. Moser & Cie. Steps-up the Pioneer With Skeletonized Cylindrical Tourbillon
With a Funky Blue fumé dial.

H. Moser & Cie. has just debuted its newest “very rare” timepiece in the form of the Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton.
Stepping it up for Watches & Wonders Geneva 2022, the watch adds an HMC 811 Manufacture calibre to the Pioneer case which contains a 60-second flying tourbillon equipped with a cylindrical hairspring — a hairspring that takes ten times longer to produce than a traditional one. The entire movement has been skeletonized to display the mechanical masterpiece while the time is read at the domed sub-dial at 12 o’clock featuring the watch manufacturer’s signature Funky Blue fumé color. The watch reads well in the dark as the inserts have been fitted with Globolight lume.
Sized to a 43.8mm stainless case with a curved sapphire crystal, the watch is paired with a black alligator leather strap or steel, but can also be matched with a rubber, textile, or kudu leather strap as suggested by H. Moser & Cie. The H. Moser Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton retails for $86,900 USD.
