Fucking Awesome Digs Into adidas Skateboarding's '80s Archive for Sherpa Camo Collaboration
Presenting a high-pile fleece top and matching pants.

Jason Dill‘s skateboarding and lifestyle imprint Fucking Awesome has a longstanding relationship with adidas Skateboarding, and now the two are back together again for a sherpa fleece collection.
This time around, the collaboration is focused on just two pieces — albeit ones meant to be worn together. Drawing from the Three Stripes’ 1980s archive, FA takes the brand’s signature two-piece tracksuit and crafts it from sherpa fleece before covering every inch in a camouflage design, which utilizes a high-pile texture to hide details such as the FA moniker and eyes into the brown, cream, green and black-toned outfit.
Neon orange has been used to accent the pocket zips and full-length zipper pull on both the top and bottom, while adidas’ Trefoil logo also appears in orange on the left-hand side of the leg of the track bottoms. Speaking on the collaboration, Dill says, “For the adidas by FA collection, I tried to bring things that I liked about the brand from when I was young like when Bob Marley, Desmond Decker and Peter Tosh were wearing adidas. I just tried to form this collection around what I liked from that era.”
He adds, “You don’t want to do what other people are doing. You want things to look significantly different and eye-catching, and I think we landed that. If Nak likes something I made, I’ve done my job.”
Take a look at the Fucking Awesome x adidas Skateboarding Sherpa collection above, and shop the pieces on FA’s website on March 16 and on adidas’ website on March 18. The collection will also drop at selected retailers worldwide and costs $150 USD for the top and $130 USD for the bottoms.
