April is just about ready to kick off in a few days, and a handful of brands are looking to pack the last days of March and the first week of the new month with some stunning sneaker releases. This week Nike, adidas, Converse and more are coming hard with new offerings, but before we inform you on those let us first take you back into all of the biggest sneaker news that came up last week.

Air Max Day 2022 went down last week, so we had plenty of excitement on the features front that included an interview with Deon Point about the three-pronged Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 Pack as well as a conversation with Air Max purist Ryan Hawkins for our latest installment of Sole Mates. While we’re on the topic of Nike, the brand came out in full force with new unveilings as well. It announced that it reached an agreement with the Kobe Bryant estate to continue the releases of Mamba-related products, provided an early look at the Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid in “Black” and officially unveiled its collaboration with Polaroid. The folks over at Jordan Brand also made their presence felt as teasers of Zion Williamson’s Jordan Zion 2 emerged, the Air Jordan 13 “Brave Blue” was revealed and detailed shots of the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT “Breakfast Club” popped up on our radar.

New Balance certainly captured our attention last week as well. They announced the acquisition of high-flying dunker Zach LaVine as the newest member of its hoops roster, linked up with Slow Steady Club for a neutral-toned 990v5 capsule and fashioned a third 574 collaboration with Louis De Guzman to pay homage to his mother’s affinity for flowers. In terms of other brands, Reebok announced its final collection with Pyer Moss, Balenciaga released a wuartet of Track.3 colorways and ASICS introduced its ‘Naruto Shippuden’ footwear collection.

All up to speed? Perfect. Browse through this week’s top 10 launches below and be sure to peep the HBX online store for fresh footwear styles to add to your rotation.

Release Price: £108 (approx. $142 USD).

Why You Should Cop: Chitose Abe and sacai rarely miss when it comes to their footwear collaborations and this week we’re seeing the brand revisit the Blazer Low. Two neutral-toned colorways including the “Black Patent” and “White Patent” keep all of the double-stacked tongues, overlays and Swooshes in tact and employ glossy side panels for an elevated aesthetic.

Union LA x Nike Dunk Low “Argon” and “Court Purple”

Release Date: March 31
Release Price: $150 USD
Where to Buy: Union
Why You Should Cop: Carhartt A sizable amount of folks went crazy for the”Pistachio” pair, but Union is now ready to conclude this month with Nike and launch the pack’s “Argon” and “Court Purple” Dunk low colorways. The dusty blue color palette for the “Argon” pair is inspired by a rare pair of kicks that Chris Gibbs scooped up from Japan, while the “Court Purple” version pays homage to the classic Japanese Dunk “City Pack” colorway. Both are expected to sell out in minutes so set your alarms for this drop.

adidas Crazy 1 “Sunshine”

Release Date: April 1

Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 “Georgetown”

Release Date: April 2
Release Price: $200 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS and Extra Butter
Why You Should Cop: Jordan Brand has been pushing the Air Jordan 1 Hi’ 85 at a snail’s pace since it returned in 2020, but the silhouette is finally dropping its first colorway of 2022. The “Georgetown” iteration is a nod to the 1982 NCAA championship — the very game in which MJ himself hit the game winner against the Hoyas to lead his team to victory. It’s also a full circle moment given that Jordan Brand is now an official sponsor of the school’s basketball program today.
