Leeds-based retailer HIP has followed up the launch of its Paraboot collaboration by unveiling its latest partnership with Japanese label Beams Plus.

Working together, the duo has honed in on the rugby uniforms worn both on and off the field throughout the early 1800s, most predominantly in the North of England, an area renowned for the sport still to this day.

Marrying this northern legacy with Beams Plus’ penchant for crafting timeless garments with preppy undertones, the two brands have delivered a five-piece capsule that encapsulates the historical culture surrounding the sport.

The collection itself comprises a Harris Tweed patchwork blazer, corduroy pleat trousers, a striped band rugby shirt, heavy sweatpants and a pair of schoolboy socks.

Take a look at the full collection in the slideshow above and shop it at the HIP webstore from March 25, 8am GMT.

In other news, A Kind of Guise has dropped its third release of Spring/Summer 2022.
