OAMC Celebrates Union's 30th Anniversary With Workwear-Tinged Capsule
Featuring a hand-painted and garment-dyed finish across the range.

In 2021, Union LA announced its 30th anniversary celebration would consist of more than a dozen collaborations, and now it’s OAMC‘s turn to salute the Chris Gibbs-helmed imprint.
Developing a four-piece capsule collection informed by Luke Meier‘s brand OAMC and Union’s branding, the offerings include a padded and quilted liner in cotton poplin, an oversized shirt and straight-leg work trousers in extra fine double-weave Italian cotton gabardine, as well as a short-sleeved T-shirt in lightweight Italian organic cotton.
All the pieces combine OAMC and Union’s logos on them, best seen on the liner which wears a dual-branded embroidered patch on the front alongside the latter’s signature motif. This is continued on the oversized shirt and the work pants, which wears the collaborative logo towards the bottom of the left-side pocket. Again, the logo has been added to the tee, this time around appearing underneath the chest pocket.
The garments are served up in “Navy” and “Tan” colorways, but as you can see from the images above, these hues are not reflective of the finished product. That’s because every single piece — which is incredibly limited — is unique, sporting a hand-painted design that’s then given OAMC’s signature garment-dyed treatment to create something akin to tie-dying, only here it’s more workwear-inspired than usual.
Take a look at the campaign above, and pick up the capsule from OAMC’s website, Union LA and its Toyko outpost from February 3, 6 p.m. CET/9 a.m PST.
