Soulja Boy has announced a new footwear line dubbed Soulja Stars, releasing three new colorways of high-top sneakers for $279 USD.

The Crank That rapper launched the project with AliveShoes, a platform that offers “professional resources to design & launch a shoe line from scratch,” claiming to take care of all production and logistics from Le Marche, Italy.

The Soulja Stars Fashion Stars Hi Top silhouette features leather uppers, two metallic star-studded velcro straps in place of laces, and a transparent “$OULJA” label printed on the elongated tongue. Below, the white midsole is wrapped in a rubber outsole that extends upwards at various angles. “First rapper not able to tie his own shoes,” Soulja Stars’ Instagram wrote in the caption.

The pairs are currently found in “White/Black,” “Green/Black” and “Black/Yellow” colorways, with each shoe integrating unique elements such as zebra print and faux-crocodile-leather overlays. Each shoe also displays a distinct silver shoebox design featuring a $OULJA logo, Soulja Boy cartoon, and green leopard print respectively.

Soulja Boy’s debut pairs are now available on the AliveShoes website.
