Nike Reveals Air Max 95 "Air Sprung" Made Using Recycled Materials
Served in “Seasame/Washed Teal/Coconut Milk/Phantom.”

Nike is one of the largest sportswear companies in the world, and as we know, the fashion and footwear industry must acknowledge their environmental impact. In 2020, Nike announced its Move to Zero initiative which aims to make Nike a zero-carbon, zero-waste company, and now it follows through on this promise with its “Air Sprung” collection. Having previously released the “Air Sprung” Air Max 90, AM97, and a complementing Air Max 95, Nike is back with yet another AM95, this time around presenting it in “Seasame/Washed Teal/Coconut Milk/Phantom.”
Kitted out in recycled materials all over, the AM95 sports an upper comprising the silhouette’s usual multi-layer aesthetic, starting with a white base that builds into cream and tan tones before finishing with purple touches towards the lower panels. At the toe, you’ll find a faux leather panel that’s also incorporated into the mid-panel, finished in cream, with more of the same on the white nylon and mesh tongue.
Teal fabric eyelets hold the purple rope laces in place, leading the eye towards the “Air Sprung” embroidered badge on the tongue. Flipping towards the rear, Nike adds its mini Swoosh onto the lateral rear-quarter in teal, and rounds things off with a touch of red branding embroidered into the heel.
Lastly comes the sole unit, which is finished in white with blue-tinted visible Air bubbles and a cream outsole, which when turned upside down, reveals more of the “Air Sprung” mushroom character branding.
Take a look at Nike’s Air Max 95 “Air Sprung” in “Seasame/Washed Teal/Coconut Milk/Phantom” above, and pick up a pair from retailers such as Asphalt Gold on February 14 for €179 EUR (approximately $205 USD).
