Take a Closer Look at Matthew Hamilton's Custom Nike SB Dunk Low "What The Paul" Olympic Curling Sneakers
Project Blitz added both a gripper and a slider to make them curling-ready.

Matthew Hamilton has returned for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics with more heat on the ice.
The Team USA curler made headlines for his custom Nike SB Dunk Lows worn during the Men’s Round Robin Session 2 match against Sweeden. Though the team lost 4-7, sneakerheads around the world are celebrating the reworked Paul Rodriguez “What The Paul” colorway sported gliding down the curling sheet.
Released last May, the colorful uppers are a combination of P-Rod’s past pro models stitched together. Hamilton’s version is in fact that same silhouette but it has been modified by Project Blitz for his sport — complete with a gripper and a slider. Check out the up-close shots of the shoe above.
