Lil Wayne is set to perform in the UK for the first time in 14 years as he headlines the 2022 Strawberries & Creem Festival.
The annual music festival will see Weezy return to the UK stage for the first time since 2008, when he toured the area in 2008. He will now be joined by Ella Mai, Mabel, New Gen: Spring 2021 honoree Tems and more for the three-day festival, which is set to take place in Cambridge, England from June 17 to June 19.
The news of his UK performance arrives shortly after he was named one of the performers at the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend alongside DJ Khaled, Mary J. Blige, Ludacris, Gunna, Migos and Lil Baby. Fans can also expect Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz‘s collaborative album sequel ColleGrove 2 to drop some time this year.
