Adidas' UltraBOOST Climacool 2 DNA Is Built for Warm Weather Running
Served in “Footwear White/Vivid Red/Core Black.”

The adidas UltraBOOST is one of the pillars of the Three Stripes’ dominance in the ever-growing sneaker market, and to keep up the momentum it has just dropped a new colorway for its UltraBOOST Climacool 2 DNA.
Appearing in “Footwear White/Vivid Red/Core Black,” this pair combines the familiar shape and styling of the UltraBOOST with adidas‘ proprietary Climacool technology, creating a pair that’s indebted to its running heritage yet built for the warmer weather that awaits.
By combining Primeknit — comprising a high-performance yarn that contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic and another 50% made using recycled polyester yarn — adidas is able to make its familiar silhouette and overall footprint more sustainable. By adding Climacool technology, the pair’s mono mesh cage now allows for airflow inside the foot when being worn, meaning the pair won’t get too clammy during a run.
Other touches from the Climacool family appear on the rear of the shoe, as well as the tongue which is graced by a Climacool badge. UltraBOOST branding hits up the heel clip as expected, while a BOOST midsole and Continental rubber outsole rounds out the pair’s look and functionality.
adidas’ UltraBOOST Climacool 2 DNA in “Footwear White/Vivid Red/Core Black” is available to purchase at Asphalt Gold for €179 EUR (approx. $204 USD). In case you missed the drop, GOAT has pairs available now.
