A Kind of Guise Looks to Colombian Heritage For SS22

A Kind of Guise has followed up the launch of its Italian Merano Boots by unveiling the lookbook for the first instalment of its Colombian-inspired Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
Entitled “Radio Medellin”, SS22 sees the Munich-based label venture to the heart of the transcontinental region for a diverse, vibrant and in-depth exploration of its inhabitant’s lifestyle and rich history.
Stand-out pieces from the collection include the ever-present Jakarta Jacket which is cut from premium woven jacquard exclusively for this collection, while knitwear arrives in the form of the merino melange Ferrini Polo and the Camilo Knit, a unique shirt-cardigan hybrid.
A “Paisley Medellin” print inspired by vintage Colombian adorns the Seaton Button Down Shirt, while an embroidered pattern can be found on the collar of a super-soft cupro Vaquero Shirt, with the Cuero Shirt rounding out the highlights in textured tones of suede such as “Cactus” and “Desert”.
