Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce 2023 Tour With The Strokes, Iggy Pop and More
St. Vincent, The Roots and King Princess will also make appearances.
Red Hot Chili Peppers are prepping for another massive tour in 2023.
Commencing in March, the band will perform a series of stadium shows and festivals across North America and the U.K. The former run, which features stops in Vancouver, Las Vegas, San Diego, Houston and Gulf Shores’ Hangout Music Festival, will include two guests at each show, chosen from The Strokes, St. Vincent, the Mars Volta, Thundercat and City and Colour.
On the U.K. leg, which stops in London, Glasgow and additional locations, Iggy Pop and The Roots will join the Red Hot Chili Peppers for select dates. Notably, King Princess will appear at a select number of shows on both continents.
The forthcoming tour will provide continued support for the band’s 2022 records, Unlimited Love and Return of the Dream Canteen. Prior to the release of these records, the group had not created a record with guitarist John Frusciante since 2006.
Red Hot Chili Peppers previously traversed the world on a huge tour that took place throughout the majority of this year. Tickets to the band’s 2023 shows will go on sale beginning Friday, December 9, at 10 a.m. local time on Ticketmaster. See the full list of tour dates on the band’s website.
