Okokume for Hypebeans Collaboration Brings the Aura of Cosmic Girl to Tong Chong Street Market
Hypebeans transforms a coffee caravan with a new interpretation of Okokume’s exclusive “Aura” artwork.
Following the unveiling of the globally acclaimed Spanish contemporary artist Okokume‘s exclusive “Aura” painting for Okokume for Hypebeans, Hypebeans is expanding the artistic influence for coffee lovers in Hong Kong.
Hypebeans announces the return to Tong Chong Street market in Quarry Bay with the debut of an Okokume for Hypebeans coffee truck this year. In an extension of the collaboration with the Spanish artist, Hypebeans transforms a caravan with a new interpretation of the exclusive art piece, “Aura,” which Okokume curated exclusively for the Hypebeans Hong Kong café last month. Aside from your classic coffee orders, the caravan will also sell Okokume for Hypebeans Drip Bag Box. The box features the artist’s iconic Cosmic Girl character surrounded by luminous auras,, encapsulating Hypebean’s signature house blend which has beans roasted by skilled Japanese artists in an over 50-year-old vintage German PROBATE roaster, resulting in a unique blend with a full-bodied, long finish.
The caravan will offer exclusive themed drinks for a limited time only. Coffee drinkers will be able to try the Rose Honey Latte as well as exclusive madeleine treats created in conjunction with Fifty Cake to bring the beloved matcha flavor to madeleines. The matcha madeleines and the earl grey lemon icing madeleine can be purchased individually or as a box set.
The Okokume for Hypebeans Pop-up Truck is happening from now until December 23 at Tong Chong Street Market.
