Ray-Ban Reimagines Iconic Wayfarer With Middle East Exclusive Legacy Model
Inspired by the region’s traditional patterns.

Transcending generations, styles and cultures, the Ray-Ban Wayfarer is undoubtedly one of the most iconic sunglasses models to hit the market. This season, the brand has reimagined the classic design for the Legacy — a Middle East exclusive drop.
Merging fashion, music and design, Ray-Ban taps into the region’s rich cultural heritage to craft this limited-edition model. Arriving in classic black hues with gold detailing on the temples as well as an exclusive gold Ray-Ban logo, the Legacy shades are imprinted with the pattern of the shemagh — a traditional scarf worn across the Arab world — onto the inside of the temples in brushed gold. Each pair is enclosed within a custom-designed black and gold box featuring the collection’s shemagh print.
With shared values of heritage and representation, Ray-Ban has teamed up with Saudi Arabian actor and musician, Tareq Al Harbi to introduce the new model. Speaking on the new design, the campaign star says, “Nothing beats a classic pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses, and a style like the Legacy is timeless. It is truly meaningful that Ray-Ban is choosing to celebrate our heritage.”
The limited-edition Ray-Ban Legacy model is available to purchase at major retailers in the region now. The brand will also be hosting an exclusive pop-up space at Saudi Arabia’s MDL Beast/Soundstorm Festival in December 2022.
