PHOTOFAIRS Announces New York Edition Starting in 2023
Coming to the Javits Center next September.

PHOTOFAIRS, East Asia’s largest commercial photography fair, announced its plans to host a New York edition starting next September. The inaugural event will take place from September 8 to 10 at the Javits Center in Manhattan and run concurrently to The Armory Show, which just recently wrapped up its 28th year.
As the sister event to PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai, the New York iteration is presented by arts event company Creo, in partnership with Angus Montgomery Arts, Photo London and Candlestar founders, Michael Benson and Fariba Farshad. The event will boast 100 international exhibitors that span the worlds of photography, alongside experimental filmmaking, VR and NFTs.
The fair organizers commented further in a statement:
“The United States holds the largest global market for photography and New York is home to more than half of the world’s high-end collectors and patrons of photography, making the city the ideal location for a contemporary fair championing photo-based works and digital art. PHOTOFAIRS New York will enhance the city’s already rich cultural offering in September and provide a strong draw for visitors and collectors.”
PHOTOFAIRS New York will commence from September 8 to 10 at the Javits Center in Manhattan. There will also be a VIP preview on September 7, 2023. The fair is currently accepting gallery applications here.
