Gucci's Jackie 1961 Mini Calf Skin Bags Serve Retro Glamor
Alessandro Michele’s latest offering could be yours for $2,800 USD.

Gucci‘s archive might be one of the most heavily referenced in the entire fashion industry, and no one pulls from the past better than the House’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele. From heavily-informed collections co-designed by Harry Styles to collaborations with Palace that looked to bring back ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s undertones, everything Gucci touches is a reflection on the past — and now, it continues its efforts with the release of the Gucci Jackie 1961 Mini Calf Hair Bag duo.
Following on from Gucci’s $6,000 USD punk-tinged Jackie 1961 and the rivetted iterations found in Gucci HA HA HA, the luxury Italian label now presents something of a true throwback. Here, the miniature size (perfect for bringing only the essentials with you on a night out) is presented in either “Orange” or “Pink” calf hair, working alongside black leather trim across both iterations.
Likewise, the two receive gold-toned hardware for the Jackie’s signature piston closure system, with more gold detailing on the leather hand-held strap. An additional leather strap converts the mini bag into a crossbody style, subsequently rounding out the minimalistic but high-impact design.
Take a look at the new Gucci Jackie 1961 Mini Calf Hair bags above, and purchase them online or in boutiques now for $2,800 USD apiece.
