CUPRA Enlists Sustainable Design Label RÆBURN To Celebrate First Electric Vehicle
With a bespoke car wrap and an exclusive apparel item.

CUPRA has tapped responsible fashion design label RÆBURN to craft a series of pieces celebrating both stylistic sustainability and the launch of its first fully electric vehicle, CUPRA Born.
In honor of CUPRA’s innovative milestone, RÆBURN crafted a bespoke wrap of the car, which draws inspiration from the design imprint’s parachute signifier. The graphic is overlaid in bright shades of orange and brown, with a geometric pattern that accentuates the car’s sporty exterior.
Additionally, the fashion label produced a fully-sustainable clothing item using SEAQUAL® YARN, a textile composed of recycled marine litter from the Mediterranean that is used to build all CUPRA interiors. The two-piece womenswear iteration, which places utility at its fore, also features RÆBURN’s signature parachute fabrication.
In a statement, Chris Raeburn, creative director of RÆBURN, said, “Everything I create is designed to be stylish, responsible and practical, so I was really excited to work with a brand like CUPRA that echoes this in everything they do. It’s been really interesting learning about the sustainable materials used in the all-electric CUPRA Born and working with these to create a bespoke piece. I’m really happy to have brought the CUPRA Born’s sustainable and sleek touches to life through my designs and to be supporting the switch to electric vehicles.”
