Bottega Veneta can fashion just about anything out of leather — from trompe-l’œil denim-printed leather pants and striped worker shirts to its signature array of bags, the Matthieu Blazy-helmed label has done it all, and now it’s ready to debut its latest offering: the Double Kalimero.

As seen during the House’s Spring/Summer 2023 runway show, which was recently spotlighted in its official campaign, the Double Kalimero does exactly what is says on the tin. Taking the new it-bag of the brand, the Kalimero, Blazy has doubled the proportions to create a sort of padded Intreccio leather double bucket bag.

So far, the piece is available in a timeless “Bitter Chocolate” tone or a vibrant “Pollen” yellow hue. Regardless of the color you’re sure to stand out as you chuck this double-bucket over your shoulder, using the rope-like shoulder strap to keep the balance. This piece continues the signature Intreccio weave, working alongside Muse brass hardware which leads the eye down into the bags’ cavities where two detachable interior drawstring canvas pouches can be found.

The only catch about this runway-seen item is the price. Indeed, it comes in at a staggering $10,500 USD, and only one of each color is currently left to buy online.
